The Process

In order to complete your task well, you have to do the following:

  1. Start off by going to the NE Gallery, going to the library and surfing the net to find out more about what the contributions of the Singapore government are.
  2. Refer to the Social Studies Book 3, Ch 2 and 3 closely to have an idea of the topics you can cover about Singapore.
  3. Find textual and pictorial sources about the contributions and other issues surrounding the Singapore government. These can be in the form of quotes, cartoons, pictures, graphs and many others. If you are taking textual sources, make sure that it is less than 120 words.
  4. For each source you have taken, make sure you include the website address or title and author of the book.
  5. Ask simple questions, requiring people to interpret the sources e.g. What do you think the source tells you about…?
  6. Make sure you have an answer for all the questions you pose. Include these answers in the booklet you are submitting.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6, this time round focusing on an external event that happened beyond Singapore.
  8. Once you have completed your project, remember to revisit the project and check for any errors (content and language).
  9. Ensure that your work is original and not plagiarized.
  10. Be sure to go through the 'evaluation' segment and be clear about what is expected from you.
