The Process

In order to complete your task well, you have to do the following:

1. Get into groups of 5.
2. Assign roles to each of the 5 members. Suggested roles will be: Group leader, IT resource person, time manager, resource coordinator, presentation coordinator.
3. While each group member has an assigned role, do be clear that everyone has to play their part in making this project a success. This means going beyond your designed role to do the best for the group.
4. Start off by going to the NE Gallery to find out the various occupations available.
5. Do a research on your topic by visiting the library and surfing the net.
6. Determine the occupation you want to cover.
7. Consider how you are going to present your content (try to work on the strengths of the group members).
8. Devise something which is creative and yet clear and focused.
9. Once you have completed your project, remember to revisit the project and check for any errors (content and language).
10. Ensure that your work is original and not plagiarized.
11. Work on how you are going to present your work.
12. Be sure to go through the 'evaluation' segment and be clear about what is expected from you.

In developing your project, take note of this:

• You will be given time to discuss your project in class for about 45min during each session (this is provided there is no disruption).
• Come prepared to maximize this time to discuss the project with your group members.
• Your assignment is due on the 8th week of Term 1. The presentation will follow after this.
• This assignment will be 40% of your SA 1 marks.
